<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens-equipped optical waveguide device for a touch panel, and a manufacturing method thereof, where adhesive does not run off from the circumferential edge of an optical waveguide, and also, the adhesive does not interrupt the alignment of the optical waveguide and the lens. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the lens-equipped optical waveguide device for a touch panel, the optical waveguide 1 is adhered on the mounting surface 21 of a lens body 2 through the adhesive 3, and the end surface 11a of one edge portion of the under clad layer 11 of the optical waveguide abuts the lens 22 of the lens body 2. Adhesive receiving grooves B<SB>1</SB>and B<SB>2</SB>are formed in the mounting surface 21 of the lens body 2, and a through hole A communicating with the adhesive receiving grooves B<SB>1</SB>and B<SB>2</SB>is formed in the optical waveguide 1 in the thickness direction, and adhesion between the mounting surface and the optical waveguide with the adhesive 3 is achieved through the use of the adhesive receiving grooves B<SB>1</SB>, B<SB>2</SB>and the through hole A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
