COMBUSTION PRESSURE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion pressure sensor superior in detection accuracy and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The combustion pressure sensor 1 detects a combustion pressure in a combustion chamber 61 of an internal combustion engine. The combustion pressure sensor 1 includes: a hollow housing 2 which is attached to a sensor insertion through hole 62 bored in the internal combustion engine so that its tip side is positioned to the side of the combustion chamber 61; a transmission member 3 slidably inserted and arranged to an axial hole 22 of the housing 2 so that a tip pressure receiving part 31 is exposed from the tip part of the housing 2 to transmit the combustion pressure of the combustion chamber 61; an abutment member 4 fixed to the tip part of the housing 2 and an outer circumferential surface of the transmission member 3 and which has an abutment part 41 for abutting against an inner wall of the sensor insertion through hole 62; and load detection element 5 mounted on a mount part 42 provided to the abutment member 4 and detecting variation of the load acting between the housing 2 and the transmission member 3.
