PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal ring mounting tool 100 capable of preventing damage caused by collision between divided ends by swift reduction of the diameter of a seal ring 3 once increased in diameter by its own restoration force in a mounting process of the seal ring 3 to an annular groove 2a. SOLUTION: This seal ring mounting tool includes: a fitting tubular part 101 fittable to an outer periphery of a seal ring mounting object component 2, and allowing a tip 101a to reach an outer peripheral position of the annular groove 2a of the seal ring mounting object component 2 in its fitting state; and a diameter-increased guide part 102 formed from the fitting tubular part 101 toward the side opposite to the tip 101a.
