PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop anα,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound having a perfluoroalkyl group, and an easy and efficient method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for efficiently producing anα,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound comprising a perfluoroalkyl group useful as an intermediate for the synthesis of a medicine or an agricultural chemical by causing a halogenated perfluoroalkyl and anα,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound to react with each other in the presence of a sulfoxide, a peroxide, and an iron compound.
