PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear with a zip fastener, which is opened large enough to be easily put on and put off. SOLUTION: This footwear with a zip fastener 3 at the rear part includes: a back stay 4 having a longitudinal cutout part 4a and fitted with the zip fastener 3 on the inner surface side of the cut part 4a; a plate-like counter 2 which is substantially semi-circular dome-shape in a front view, fitted to the inner surface side of the lower end part of the back stay 4, and disposed at the lower end part of the zip fastener 3; an inner vamp 5 attached to one end of right and left of the back stays 4; and an outer shoe upper quarter 6 fitted to the other end of right and left of the back stay 4, wherein the counter 2 is provided with a notched recessed part 2a opened upward, in which a slider 3a of the zip fastener 3 enters from above.
