FIELD: heating. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention deals with processes of drying various bulk materials in a dryer drum. It is to be utilised in construction, milling industry and other sectors. The dryer drum contains a rotary cylindrical-shaped body with the intake section with its helical blades system connected to the heat feeder source and the charging tube. The cylindrical body is positioned within the basic section of the radial blades system. The drum front section is divided into compartments each equipped with helical, radial and auxiliary blades. The compartments are interconnected via flanges with nipples whose diametre is equal to 30-80% of the main drum diametre. The nipples length varies from 10% to 20% of the main drum diametre. The nipples are arranged at spacings equal to 0.6-1.0 drum diametre relative to the drum end and to each other. ^ EFFECT: attainment of technical effect realised in improvement of the installation performance without detriment to efficiency. ^ 2 dwg |
