FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: smooth surface of sample is prepared and gradually loaded with external tensile force. Prior to loading sample surface is marked with at least three microhardness measurement sites measured at each loading step. Measuring result dispersion is calculated in each site and sample material yield point is determined by increase in dispersion not less than 20% of value obtained within previous loading stage. ^ EFFECT: evaluation of material mechanical properties stability by yield point in process of one sample testing. ^ 1 dwg |
