PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of achieving stable steering performance and riding comfortableness performance of the tire simultaneously while reducing the weight of the tire. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire 1 includes a carcass layer 4 composed of a pair of bead cores 2, 2, bead fillers 3, 3, and carcass cords arranged in rows and arranged between the pair of bead cores 2 and 2 and a belt layer 5. The carcass layer 4 is divided in a center region of a tread part, and each of divided ends of the carcass layer 4 is separated from each other at a predetermined interval in the direction of width of the tire. When the divided part of the carcass layer 4 positioned on an outer side in the direction of vehicle width is called as an outer side carcass layer 41 and the divided part of the carcass layer 4 positioned on an inner side in the direction of vehicle width is called as an inner side carcass layer 42 while the tire is mounted on a vehicle, an inclination angle of the carcass cord in the outer side carcass layer 41 for the peripheral direction of the tire is smaller than an inclination angle of the carcass cord in the inner side carcass layer 42 for the peripheral direction of the tire.
