<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stably anaerobic treatment of an evaporated water condensate exhausted from a paper industry process with a granule sludge for a long time at a high load and rate. <P>SOLUTION: The evaporated water condensate is introduced into a reaction vessel 20 through a treating liquid path 31. A coating waste liquid exhausted from the coating process part 71 is added to a mid flow of the treating liquid path 31 or to the reaction vessel 20.
