<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detecting precision of coordinates indicated on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: On the basis of knowledge that there are an area where the influence (sensitivity level) of a difference (angle detection error) between an angle acquired from an indication-input pixel number and an actual angle to be given to the calculating precision of indication-input coordinates is large and an area where any problem is not generated in practice in a coordinate input effective area 3, an approximate expression for converting the indication-input pixel number into angle information is corrected so that the angle detection error of the area where the influence to be given to the calculating precision of the indication-input coordinates is large can be minimized. Then, anglesΘ<SB>R</SB>andΘ<SB>L</SB>are calculated by using the corrected approximate expression, and indication-input coodinates P are calculated from the calculated anglesΘ<SB>R</SB>andΘ<SB>L</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
