PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of improving connection reliability by improving a fall-off preventing function of a terminal fitting. SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes a connector housing 2, a female terminal 3 and a lance 7. The connector housing 2 has a terminal housing chamber 6 in which the female terminal 3 is housed. The female terminal 3 has an electric wire 8 attached thereto and has a lance housing part 18 and a notch part 19. The lance 7 is elastically deformably provided in the terminal housing chamber 6 and equipped with a lance body 23 and a locking part 24. Then, when the female terminal 3 is inserted into the terminal housing chamber 6, the lance body 23 of the lance 7 is housed in the lance housing part 18, and the locking part 24 intrudes into the notch part 19 to lock the female terminal 3.
