PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay in which the number of common components is increased between a make type structure and a break type structure in an electromagnetic relay of a high height and a thin type, and a manufacturing cost is reduced effectively. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay 10 is provided with a base 12 and an electromagnetic unit 14 and a contact point 16 assembled on the base 12. The electromagnetic unit 14 is provided with an electromagnet 24 with a coil 30 and an armature 26 driven by the electromagnet 24. The contact point 16 is provided with a fixed contact point member 40 with a fixed contact point 38 and a movable contact point leaf spring member 44 with a movable contact point 42. The contact point 16 has a normally-closed contact point structure in which the fixed contact point 38 and the movable contact point 42 are conductively contacted when the electromagnet 24 is not excited, while the fixed contact point 33 is positioned between the movable contact point 42 and the armature 26. In the electromagnet unit 14, the armature 26 is shifted by the excitation of the electromagnet 24 in the pushing dirction of the movable contact point leaf spring member 44, and the movable contact point 42 is dislocated from the fixed contact point 38.
