<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion-containing composition containing catechins, excellent in emulsion stability and without forming agglomeration, etc., a foodstuff and a preparation for external use. <P>SOLUTION: This emulsion-containing composition comprises emulsion particles formed by an oil-soluble component and an emulsifying agent containing a sucrose fatty acid ester having a <18C fatty acid and catechins, and showing a pH of 2.5 to 6.5. The emulsion composition, preferably, further contains a polyglycerol fatty acid ester of which degree of polymerization of glycerol is ≤6 and constituting fatty acid has ≤14 carbon atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
