<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of collecting magnetic substance carrier adhering to an electrostatic latent image carrier and preventing the fogging of an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the electrostatic latent image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: By making a second DSD between a second developing roller 53 and a photoreceptor drum 21 longer than a first DSD between a first developing roller 52 and the photoreceptor drum 21, intensity of electric field between the second developing roller 53 and the photoreceptor drum 21 is made weaker than that between the first developing roller 52 and the photoreceptor drum 21. Therefore, even if positively electrified carrier on the surface of the first developing roller 52 is shifted to adhere to the surface of the photoreceptor drum 21, the intensity of the electric field becomes weak between the second developing roller 53 and the photoreceptor drum 21, so that the magnetic force of the second developing roller 53 overcomes force by the electric field, and the carrier on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 21 is attracted and collected to the surface of the second developing roller 53 by the magnetic force of the second developing roller 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
