<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a display device capable of further mitigating an impact acting on a liquid crystal display device, and to provide an electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device includes: a front surface masking member 20 for covering a liquid crystal display device 17; a back surface cover member 32 connected with the part 20 on the front surface side for covering the liquid crystal display device 17 from the opposite side; and support plate members 22L and 22R for supporting the liquid crystal display device 17 housed in the front surface masking member 20 and the back surface cover member 32. The support plate members 22L and 22R includes: a support part 22a for supporting the liquid crystal display device 17; a bend part 22c bent from the support part 22a; and a fixing part 22e fixed to the front surface masking member 20 at the end of the bend part 22c. The back surface cover member 32 includes a beam member 33a erected to the side of the front surface masking member 20 and provided at a distance from the bend part 22c on the outer circumferential side of the bend in the bend part 22c.
