PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and a program, capable of improving user's convenience by displaying approximate map information based on the current position, when the current position is being measured, or even when measuring is failed. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal for displaying a map on a display, comprises: a base station communication means for obtaining base station position information, when the mobile terminal communicates with a wireless base station; a memory means for storing a base station position; a positioning means for positioning a current position of the mobile terminal; a positioning control means for requesting a base station position to the memory means, while requesting a positioning position to the positioning means; and a display control means for displaying a second map based on the positioning position on the display, after displaying a first map based on the base station position obtained by the positioning control means.
