摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide elecroluminescence device and electronic appliance capable of suppressing a reduction in luminance induced upon observation at a wide angle. SOLUTION: An organic EL device 1 includes a substrate 10, a light emitting element 70 with an organic light emitting layer 20 formed for each pixel 40 on the substrate 10 and a substrate 30 affixed to the substrate 10. The substrate 30 is provided with a color filter having a color element 34G disposed at the center of a pixel 40G and a color element 34g disposed in at least a part of a region along the outer periphery of the pixel concerned 40G of the pixels 40G on its opposite surface. Here, the transmission factor of the color element 34g is higher than that of the color element 34G in a range of wavelengths shorter than a wavelength giving the highest transmission factor in the transmission spectrum of the color element 34G.
