PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety display device for achieving safety of a pedestrian at the specific position of indoor facilities. SOLUTION: Paths 6a and 6b inside the indoor facilities orthogonally cross each other in a crossing area 7 and path shielding objects 8a-8d are provided on four surfaces of the crossing area 7. On a floor surface near an entrance to the crossing area 7 of the respective paths, detection zones 1a-1d where a piezoelectric element group is disposed are provided. The piezoelectric element group in the detection zones 1a-1d is electrically connected with the light source of a display zone 4 by lead wires 3a-3d. When the pedestrian 9a reaches the detection zone 1a and the load is applied, power is generated in the piezoelectric element group, electric energy is transmitted to the light emitting element group in the display zone 4 by the lead wire 3a, and output light is emitted. The presence of the pedestrian 9a is reported to a pedestrian 9b approaching the crossing area from a different direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
