PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for a vehicle capable of easily enlarging a space for storing baggage etc. in a compartment while maintaining a vehicle body compact. SOLUTION: This seat device for a vehicle comprises a driver's seat 6 arranged on a rear side of an instrument panel 4 installed at a front end of a compartment and extending in a vehicle width direction, and a plurality of front passenger's seats 7, 7 aligned in the vehicle width direction relative to the driver's seat 6. The front passenger's seat 7 is supported movably in a forward and backward direction of the vehicle along a seat rail 11, and is configured to be stored below the instrument panel 4 at a front end position of a movable range.
