PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the increase of a measuring time when measuring each conveyance performance in order to correct a conveyance error properly in a recording device equipped with two or more recording medium conveying means. SOLUTION: The recording device is equipped with a roller for conveying the recoding medium, two or more courses for conveying the recording medium to the recording position using the roller, a means for acquiring the correction value for correcting the conveyance error of the roller when the recording medium is conveyed for each of the two or more courses, and a control means for controlling the conveyance by applying the correction value corresponding to the course with which the recording medium is conveyed.
