PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for shaping a spherical article from which a shaped spherical article can be easily removed, from which even a non-elastic and highly rigid spherical article can be removed without a damage or deformation, and with which many spherical articles can be shaped in one shaping operation, and to provide a shaping method of the spherical article by using the mold. SOLUTION: In the mold 1 for shaping a spherical article which has an upper mold 2, a lower mold 4 facing to the upper mold and one or two or more middle molds 3 clamped between the upper mold and the lower mold, the upper mold, the lower mold and the middle molds are each separable along the approximately horizontal direction, the upper mold, the middle molds and the lower mold are mated with each other to form a cavity corresponding to the spherical article, and at least one of the middle molds is separable at a position of an approximately bisectional line of the spherical article.
