<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water stopping structure of the wires and the water stopping method to enhance water stopping performance with a water stopping material retained in target positions, having no possibility of contaminating the circumference with the water stopping material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for stopping water is characterized in curing the water stopping material 3 in a liquid state immersed in gaps among a plurality of the wires W in bundle. A magnetic fluid is adopted for the water stopping material 3. After the material 3 isimmersed into the gaps, the material 3 is cured with an outer side of the bundle of the wires W covered with a magnetic field by a magnet 2 such that the material 3 is attracted to portions as required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
