<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a fuel cell system capable of executing fail-safe processing when a scavenging execution duration cannot be accurately estimated. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with an AC impedance measurement part 92, which measures an AC impedance of a fuel cell at the scavenging start time while measuring an AC impedance of a fuel cell at the time with the elapse of a prescribed period of time from the scavenging start time, a scavenging execution duration estimation part 94, which estimates a scavenging execution duration on the basis of the AC impedance measured at the scavenging start time, the AC impedance measured at the time with the elapse of the prescribed period of time from the scavenging start time, and the prescribed period of time, and an abnormality processing part 95 that forcibly terminates scavenging processing when an AC impedance cannot be measured at the time with the elapse of the prescribed period of time from the scavenging start time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
