PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus attaining stability of communication, in a branching/joining part of a self-traveling body, in a more simplified and inexpensive scheme. SOLUTION: Along with a fixed route on which a self-traveling body moves, a communication line 61 is laid for which a pair of wires 61a, 61b are coated with an insulating material 61c in parallel with each other. A ground control device of the self-traveling body is connected to the communication line 61. In the self-traveling body, an antenna 63 is disposed which faces the communication line 61 and exchanges data with the communication line 61 in order to exchange data with the ground control device. At a spot where the distance between the communication line 61 and the antenna 63 is widened with movement of the self-traveling body, a resonator 66 is provided between the communication line 61 and the antenna 63, the resonator 66 being formed from a coil 64 wound in a loop shape and a capacitor 65 connected in series to both ends of the coil 64 and being configured to resonate at a communication use frequency of the communication line 61.
