BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYARYLENE SULFIDE FILM, METALLIZED FILM AND CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyarylene sulfide film having excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, electric properties and planarity; to provide a polyarylene sulfide film capable of forming a capacitor high in reliability even when using at a high temperature and high voltage when being applied particularly to a capacitor because of having high electric properties together with an excellent self-healing property (SH property); to provide its metallized film; and to provide a capacitor using the same. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polyarylene film is characterized in that when a dielectric breakdown voltage at 23°C is defined as V(23) (V/μm) and that at 150°C is defined as V(150) (V/μm), the relations: V(150)/V(23)≥0.85 and V(150)≥300 are satisfied.
