PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft gel type oily cleansing cosmetic that has a soft feel, proper thickness, a little burden to the skin during stroking action during cleansing. SOLUTION: The oily solid cosmetic comprises (1) a mixed ester of a (poly)glycerol long-chain fatty acid and a long-chain dibasic carboxylic acid, which contains a branched acyl group and (2) a nonionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of 7-17. The oily solid cosmetic is preferably a melt-on-touch type and a cleansing cosmetic. The mixed ester of the (poly)glycerol long-chain fatty acid and the long-chain dibasic carboxylic acid, which contains a branched acyl group, is preferably behenic acid/isostearic acid/eicosadicarboxylic acid glyceryl.
