<p>The subject matter described herein is directed towards a virtual sensor device having one or more processing modules, at least a memory and at least one port. The port communicates between the virtual sensor device and a processor of an electronic control unit. The memory stores configurable coded instructions for estimating variable properties associated with an object or process. The configurable coded instructions render the virtual sensor device compatible with the processor. The configurable coded instructions make the virtual sensor platform independent.</p> |
