Method for uranium dioxide dissolution involves oxidation dissolution of uranium dioxide in water-free solvent. Solvent includes tributhylphosphate and dilutant. For dilutant, chlorine-, fluorine-containing hydrocarbon with boiling point under 100°C are used. After uranium dioxide dissolution dilutant is distilled.
