摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy both of fuel consumption and drivability in controlling the speed change of a CVT etc. SOLUTION: An ECU 100 executes the speed change processing. In the processing, required acceleration "at" is achieved, and is compared with a preset threshold value "atth". When the required acceleration "at" is larger than the threshold value "atth", it is intended to suppress the deterioration of the drivability due to the inertia torque accompanying the speed change operation. For this purpose, a target input shaft rotational speed "Vina" is set on a low rotational speed side lower than the rotational speed of an engine corresponding to the optimum fuel consumption operating point to be set as the target input shaft rotational speed "Vina" when the required acceleration "at" is not larger than the threshold value "atth". When an input shaft rotational speed "Vin" has reached to the target input shaft rotational speed "Vina" in the speed change processing, the target input shaft rotational speed "Vina" is reset to the value in an ordinary time, and the speed changing operation is continued.
