PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating method which can electrodeposit a paint on a plurality of articles to be coated which may be different types, into a predetermined thickness. SOLUTION: This electrodeposition coating method includes: sequentially submerging and immersing the plurality of articles (M) to be coated into the electrodeposition paint bath liquid (L), while transporting the articles, and raising up each of the article (M) to be coated from the electrodeposition paint bath liquid (L) after having immersed each of the article (M) for an individually predetermined period of time. The electrodeposition coating method can form electrodeposition films having substantially the same thickness on the articles (M) to be coated which have different sizes, shapes and the like, can form films with appropriate thicknesses for each of the articles (M) to be coated, and accordingly is economical.
