PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding and conveying device capable of easily coping with a jam in each of conveying paths without increasing dimensions of the device, in a paper feeding and conveying device wherein three conveying paths approach and join with each other. SOLUTION: A first conveying path P1 is formed between a first movable guide 31 and a second movable guide 32, a second conveying path P2 is formed between the first movable guide 31 and a third movable guide 33, and a third conveying path P3 is formed so as to join with them on the downstream side in the conveying direction on a side of the third movable guide 33 opposite to a side adjacent to the second movable guide 32. The second movable guide 32 is turned along so as to open the first conveying path P1, and after the first conveying path P1 is opened, the first movable guide 31 is turned alone so as to open the second conveying path P2, and after the second conveying path P2 is opened, the third movable guide 33 is turned alone so as to open the third conveying path P3.
