PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost forming roll for a thin film sheet which is of a simple structure and capable of forming the thin film sheet efficiently and easily. SOLUTION: This forming roll comprises a metallic elastic sleeve 102 made up of a metallic thin film which is elastically deformable, an annular sealing member 103 which is elastically deformable and blocks both end parts of the metallic elastic sleeve 102 inside the sleeve 102, and an inner cylinder 105 with an elastically deformable covering member 104 which forms a coolant flow path and presses the metallic elastic sleeve 102 from inside, and formed on the outer peripheral part of the inner cylinder 105.
