The present invention relates to novel enzymatic substrates with the following general formula: where R₁, R₂, R₃. R₄, R₅, R₆, A and X are as defined in claim 1 , the reaction media comprising the same and the use thereof for the detection and/or identification and/or quantification of microorganisms expressing at least one peptidase activity.
