A disc can be supported stably and surely. The clamp (7) of a disc rotation driver (1) provided with an abutting portion (13) circularly at the outer circumferential part with the central part being secured and fixed to a rotary drivable hub (5), and supporting a magnetic disc (3) fixedly on the hub (5) by bringing the abutting portion (13) into contact with the magnetic disc (3) attached to the hub (5) to enable recording of information thereby imparting a pushing force (Fy) in the direction of the axis of rotation, characterized in that a wall portion (25) provided with the abutting portion (13) and directed in the direction of the axis of rotation is provided at the outer circumferential part in order to make the frictional force (µFy) between the abutting portion (13) and the magnetic disc (3), resisting against a radial outward moving force (Fx) acting on the abutting portion (13) under a state where the abutting portion (13) is in contact with the magnetic disc (3), equal to or higher than the moving force (Fx).
