The sheet work piece is installed between sheet-bending machine rolls and bent at the front and rear edges. The middle section of work piece is bent at the next stage and longitudinal joint is welded. Surface compressive stresses are ensured in the longitudinal weld of work piece by means of mechanical processing. Finally, defects of cylindrical work piece are fixed. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of finished item.
