<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrically conductive metal nanoparticles not only capable of directly printing fine pattern wiring on a base material by a single process and simplifying the process, so as to epoch-makingly reduce a unit production cost, but also capable of producing a high integrated and high efficiency printed circuit through the refining of a wiring width, and particularly, remarkably reducing heat treatment temperature for wiring formation compared with that in the conventional metal particles, and to provide a production method utilizing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for producing electrically conductive metal nanoparticles comprising: a stage where a metal hydrocarbon compound is dissolved into an organic solvent, so as to produce a solution, and thereafter, the solution is charged with an aromatic amine compound, so as to cause a reaction; and a stage where, after the reaction, the resultant product is cleaned with a mixed solvent of alcohol and acetone, and is dried.
