<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a liquefied oil of coal reduced in producing cost by supplying hydrogen cheaply. <P>SOLUTION: In a coal liquefaction method to liquefy a coal slurry under high-temperature high-pressure conditions of a hydrogen atmosphere after the slurry is made by adding a solvent to crushed coal, hydrogen gas is generated and supplied by the reaction of an alkali aqueous solution and aluminum. A coal liquefaction apparatus is structured of a mixer which mixes the crushed coal and the solvent to make the slurry, a liquefaction reaction tank in which the slurry is reacted in a hydrogen gas atmosphere condition, and a hydrogen gas supply apparatus to supply the hydrogen gas generated by the reaction of the alkali aqueous solution with aluminum to the liquefaction reaction tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
