<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new diphenyl sulfone derivative which can give heat-sensitive recording material excellent in an imaged portion-preserving property, especially in moist heat resistance and oil resistance, and further excellent in the property of preserving a color-undeveloped portion and especially in heat resistance, and is useful as a color-developing substance, and to provide a heat-sensitive recording material which uses the diphenyl sulfone derivative as a color-developing substance and has the properties. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a diphenylsulfone cross-linking type compound represented by general formula (1) [wherein, (n) is an integer of 1 to 10], and to a heat-sensitive recording material prepared by disposing a heat-sensitive color-developing layer which contains a color-developing substance used for heat-sensitive recording and comprising the diphenylsulfone cross-linking type compound, and a color-developing substance comprising a colorless or pale color leuco dye, on a support. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
