PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm unit and an alarm system for preventing any false alarm due to detection of gas which is generated due to any factor other than fire. SOLUTION: This alarm unit 20 is provided with a detection means 21a1 for detecting smoke; an alarm means 21a2 for giving a fire alarm according to detection by the detection means 21a; an acquisition means 21a3 for acquiring gas use information according to detection by the detection means 21a1 from a measuring device 10 which measures a gas flow rate to at least one or more gas fittings installed within the monitoring range of the alarm unit 20; a decision means 21a4 for deciding the use of gas based on the gas use information acquired by the acquisition mean 21a3; and a warning means 21a5 for issuing a warning according to the decision of the use by the decision means 21a4.
