PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which the drive device of a lens barrier is miniaturized. SOLUTION: A coupling member 14 is constituted to maintain the predetermined relative positional relationship of an outer frame 10 and an inner frame 12. By supplying a driving current to shape memory alloy 22 so that the shape memory alloy 22 may be contracted, the relative positional relationship of the outer frame 10 and the inner frame 12 is changed. The coupling member 14 has such elasticity that the relative positional relation of the outer frame 10 and the inner frame 12 is restored to relation as before when the supply of the driving current to the shape memory alloy 22 is stopped. A first spring member 16a biases a driving member 18 to a first position or a second position different from the first position. By the contraction of the shape memory alloy on one side, the inner frame 12 moves the driving member 18 from one position to the other position against the spring force of the first spring member 16a.
