PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device in which spatial allowance can be secured on the outer circumference side of a moving body. SOLUTION: In the lens drive device 1, a magnet 17 is equipped with a second magnetic piece 172 whose outer circumferential surface side is recessed inside in comparison with a first magnetic piece 171 to which the second magnetic piece 172 is adjacent in an optical axis direction, so that free space where a hook 220 provided on equipment 200 side on which the lens drive device 1 is mounted can be engaged with the notch 165 of a back yoke 16 is secured on the outer circumference side of the moving body 3. An auxiliary back yoke 15 is arranged for the second magnetic piece 172. The lowering of magnetic flux interlinked in a coil 30 is therefore stopped even when the thin second magnetic piece 172 is used as a part of the magnet 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
