PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeglasses holder with which eyeglasses can be firmly held in a desired place, without causing wearer's depression and deterioration in decorativeness when wearing the eyeglasses, and also, even without a storing part such as a chest pocket. SOLUTION: The eyeglasses holder includes: a holding clip X having a pair of holding parts 2 and 2, configured to vertically or nearly vertically hold the temples 52a and 52b of the folded eyeglasses 51 between the holding parts 2 and 2; and a fastening means Y configured to be directly or indirectly fixed to the holding clip X and freely attached/detached to/from clothes or the like. In a state where the fastening means Y is attached to the clothes or the like so as to hold the eyeglasses 51, the holding clip X holds the temples 52a and 52b of the eyeglasses 51 from a direction perpendicular or nearly perpendicular to the temples 52a and 52b.
