摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor capable of equalizing a thickness of a solid electrolytic layer. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the solid electrolytic capacitor includes the steps of: forming a pressurized compact 1A containing the fine powder 11 of a valve action metal; forming a porosity sintered body by sintering the pressurized compact 1A; forming a dielectric layer on a front surface of the porosity sintered body; and forming the solid electrolytic layer lapping the dielectric layer, wherein in the step of forming the pressurized compact 1A, the fine powder 11 of the valve action metal and the fine powder 12 of an auxiliary metal whose melting point is lower than a temperature for sintering the valve action metal are distributed to at least a surface portion 1Ab of the pressurized compact 1A, and in the step of sintering the pressurized compact 1A, the auxiliary metal is removed from the pressurized compact 1A by melting the auxiliary metal.
