PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic leather having both of the stainproof and the abrasion resistance, particularly suitable for furniture and chairs. SOLUTION: A synthetic leather 1 forms a stainproof layer 11 on the surface of a body material 10 having a fiber substrate 15 and a resin layer 16. In the leather, formation of the stainproof layer 11 is carried out by using a material containing a two-pack curable type silicone-containing fluororesin, and the thickness of the stainproof layer 11 is≥0.1μm and≤10μm and breaking strength of a resin obtained by curing a material used for stainproof layer 11 is 12.0-30.0 MPa.
