PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive ferritic stainless steel sheet producible at high productivity and having excellent ridging resistance, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel sheet producible inexpensively in high productivity and having excellent ridging resistance has a componential composition containing, by mass,≤0.03% C,≤0.03% N,≤0.05% C+N,≤1.0% Si,≤0.50% Mn,≤0.04% P,≤0.02% S, 20.5 to 22.5% Cr, 0.3 to 0.8% Cu,≤1.0% Ni, Ti: 4×(C+N)% to 0.40%, 0.01 to 0.1% V,≤0.5% Nb,≤0.2% Mo, 0.02 to 0.05% Al and 0.0001 to <0.005% Mg, and in which the product of the V content and the N content (V%×N%) satisfies 0.0001 to 0.0010, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and also, composite inclusions composed of Al-Mg based inclusions and Ti based inclusions in which the mass ratio between Mg and Al (Mg/Al) is≤0.2 are dispersed.
