PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health appliance using radium capable of suppressing a manufacturing cost and being used many times. SOLUTION: This health appliance is characterized in having water impermeable containers 2, 12 and 22, and radium containing materials 3, 13 and 23 filling the containers 2, 12 and 22 in sealed state, preferably, a material formed by pulverizing mineral deposits collected in Tamagawa hot spring in Akita Prefecture or a material formed by mixing the powder formed by pulverizing the mineral deposits collected in Tamagawa hot spring in Akita Prefecture, with hot spring water of Tamagawa hot spring and liquidizing the powder are used as the radium containing material. A user may sit in a bathtub with the containers submerged therein, or lie or sit on a rock on which the containers are placed, so as to have various types of treatments by radium radiation irradiated from the radium contained in the mineral deposit powder.
