<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to make corrections adaptively to various image data and image contents so that, for example, even when image data for broadcasting and user-photographed image data are input both as television signals, similar corrections are not suitably made. <P>SOLUTION: It is decided whether input motion image data is a broadcast signal or non-broadcast signal (S5). When the motion image data is a broadcast signal, it is considered that the broadcast signal is already corrected to some extent, so a non-broadcast signal is corrected to a larger extent (S6, S7 and S8) to make a display (S9).
