<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that productivity and cost performance are retarded since die molded parts corresponding to different lengths need to be manufactured in order to cope with various engine head plug hole lengths. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of irregularities are provided on at least one of an outer circumference surface of a pole part 10b and an inner circumference surface of a seal member 11 and a boot member 12 in an axial direction thereof. Consequently, engagement position of the irregularities can be selected with respect to the axial direction of the pole part 10b when the seal member 11 and the boot member 12 are built on the pole part 10b. Namely, number of total lengths of the plug socket 3 can be number of combinations provided by multiplying number of concave parts of the seal member 11 by number of concave parts of the boot member 12. Consequently, since it is enough to manufacture one kind of die molded part when plug sockets corresponding to various lengths of plug holes 2 are manufactured, productivity and cost performance of the ignition coil are improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
