PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ligand to 5-oxo-ETE (5-oxo-6,8,11,14-eicosatetraenoic acid) receptor, utilizable as a reagent for research, a lead compound, etc., for therapeutic agent for allergy and asthma. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a peptide activating 5-oxo-ETE receptor composed of either one amino acid sequence of an amino acid sequence represented by His Met Trp Leu Tyr Phe, and an amino acid sequence represented by His Met Gln Leu Tyr Phe, or a derivative thereof. These peptide compounds can be synthesized according to conventional methods such as a solid phase method and a liquid phase method and these peptide compounds are bound to physiologic ligand-binding site of 5-oxo-ETE receptor to exhibit activity and functions as an agonist.
