<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction-heating cooking appliances capable of eliminating an increase in heating output on outputting a low heating power, and securely discriminating absence/presence of heating pan; and to provide a controlling method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: On outputting a power for low-heat cooking; a common arm 8, an inner-coil arm 9, and an outer-coil arm 10 in an inverter circuit 7 are controlled to synchronously output a high-frequency power to concentrically disposed inner coil 31 and outer coil 33 by a command from a controlling circuit 36. At the same time, all the arms are operated on and off by a common arm driving circuit 26, an inner-coil arm driving circuit 27, and an outer-coil arm driving circuit 28, to supply the power under the low-heating condition by periodically stopping the power to the outer coil 33 to avoid causing a loss in a shield ring. The controlling circuit 36 determines the absence/presence of the heating pan, on the basis of the detection on the input current detected by an input-current detecting circuit 6 and the output current of the inner coil 31 and the outer coil 33 detected by an output-current detecting circuit 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
